It is universally acknowledged that employees are a company’s most important capital investment, and the key to sustained success. That’s why my partners and I formed MindKey Group more than ten years ago. We wanted to build a company that makes human capital management tools to facilitate all facets within talent management and performance management. That was our goal, and that's exactly what we've done.
We crafted our motto, Unlock Human Potential, very carefully. Yes, it’s catchy and plays well with our company name. But more importantly, as any good motto should, these three words succinctly convey our message and our purpose. We help companies, and individuals, increase productivity by getting the most out of their talents and abilities. Human potential is at the heart of our products, and that’s what we want to set free.
Our collective mission is to develop software and processes that convert human capital into economic results, and our vision is simple:
- Make strategic objectives visible and relevant to all employees. People are motivated by their own success, and that of people around them. Make each person aware of the importance of his or her contribution.
- Connect employee development to business-critical tasks. People work best from positions of strength. When talents match tasks, and tasks are understood, performance improves exponentially.
- Identify and close talent gaps in relation to job requirements. Ensure that investments in employee career and talent development show returns.
- Motivate and help employees to complete their activities. Attention affects behavior, and timely managerial interest keeps people engaged.
- Report real-time results upward in the organization. Decision makers need reliable information, and they need it right now, not in five minutes. Information must be on-demand, accurate, and intuitive to interpret.
We do all of this in our own company every day so that the software, best practices, and consulting services we provide are proven to enable our customers to do the same.
I have been a manager for a long time, and my experience has taught me that managers need systems that make it easier to lead and develop employees. That’s the kind of human resources software we develop here at MindKey Group.
