Henrik´s IT career has included extensive management experience at various levels. Among his many noteworthy assignments, one that stands out in particular was managing the team of developers at Damgaard A/S that developed the early versions of Microsoft Dynamics™ AX (then known as Axapta).

At Damgaard, and later as CTO at Speednames/Ascio, Henrik concentrated on building highly-professional software organizations by establishing structure, communicating clear commitments to customers, and attracting and retaining some of the best talent in the business.

Converting software into visible bottom-line value for businesses is the inspiration and motivation behind Henrik’s work. He believes in fast and reliable return on investment in all project implementations. Rather than force everything to happen all at once, Henrik prefers to identify and prioritize areas that offer immediate value.

Among Henrik’s key managerial strengths is his unwavering confidence in his employees. Beyond their known abilities, he has a deep confidence in untapped potential as well, and works to create an atmosphere that coaxes employees to discover and apply this potential to benefit both the company and themselves.

When he isn’t mixing the ingredients of quality software, Henrik can often be found in the kitchen whipping up one of his many specialty dishes. Henrik enjoys preparing fine food, and likes to share the creative process with his family. As with bringing fine software to the table, good cooking requires patience, planning, and quality ingredients. In the kitchen, Henrik controls events with a firm, steady hand and a lot of good (loud) music until he delivers the results to the dining table, much to his family’s delight!
