”All employees must be involved in solutions and processes.” That is Steen Jensens’ philosophy as production chief in a manufacturing company. “Only by getting employees to commit their hearts and souls can the company reach it ambitious objectives.”
Danotherm has worked with flexible and performance dependent payroll systems in production since 1997. We must focus more on the individual employee, and our discussions must be an active instrument for doing so,“ says Steen Jensen.

Many of the 95 people that Danotherm employs in Denmark are from another country. It’s with this group of employees that the company’s motivation management has been extra successful.
”Integrating and motivating workers that are from a cultural background other than Danish requires us to consider the needs of each individual,” explains Steen Jensen, “for example, in many parts of the world a person is not able to influence his or her job. In these cases, first we must encourage the person to take responsibility and initiative. When this is successful, the results we get in return are just fantastic.”
Compared with other companies in Poland, where Danotherm has a factory, the Danish company has already achieved a considerably lower employee turnover rate. This fact has resulted in better profitability.
Therefore it’s only a question of time before the MindKey HCM solution is also implemented in Poland to improve performance even more. It’s proven that leading with a human element in focus makes it possible to effectively compete with the technology companies in the East.
