AI in HR: From opportunities to responsible use in practice

Networking Event at Mindkey
20 May 2026
Østerbro, Copenhagen

AI is already part of HR from recruitment to pay transparency. The question is no longer if, but how it is used correctly and anchored in your data and systems. That is why we are inviting you to a networking event, where you can connect with other HR professionals and gain insight into how AI can be applied responsibly in practice - in line with the new requirements of the EU AI Act.

What can you expect?

You will get concrete examples of how AI is already being used in HR today, and what it takes to apply it responsibly in practice. We will focus on how AI is used in HR processes such as recruitment, analysis and pay transparency, and how it works directly on your existing HR data - not as a separate tool.

At the same time, we will look at what the EU AI Act means for HR and your choice of systems, how you maintain control, transparency and decision-making power in an AI-supported environment, and where AI creates real impact - and where human judgement remains essential.

How does Mindkey work with AI?

At Mindkey, we work with AI as an integrated part of the existing HR platform - not as an add-on or a side experiment. It is built into the platform and used to support structure, decisions and documentation based on your organisation’s own HR data.

This means:

  • AI is based on your existing data – not generic models
  • AI supports compliance and documentation – not just analysis
  • AI is used as decision support – not automated decision-making

Why participate

Because AI in HR is not only about efficiency, but also about responsibility.

When AI is applied to data about people, it places demands on:

  • Data quality
  • Transparency
  • Documentation
  • Governance

At the meeting, you will gain a concrete understanding of how these requirements can be handled in practice without making HR work more complex and with a direct connection to your existing data and processes.

At the same time, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other HR professionals and gain new perspectives on how AI is being used within organisations.

Speaker

Louise Harder Fischer

Associate Professor, IT University of Copenhagen

We have invited Louise Harder Fischer to deliver the first talk of the morning. Louise works with how AI and digital technology are changing the way we organise work, and her research focuses on digital transformation, leadership, and learning.

She is also a co-creator of the STAIR method—a research-based approach that views AI as more than just technology, but as an organisational transformation that requires learning, dialogue, and reflection.

What can you expect?

We take our starting point in how the role of HR is evolving, as AI shifts the focus from operations to more strategic and proactive decision-making. HR is gaining a central role in establishing the structure and framework for the use of AI, while collaboration with IT and leadership becomes increasingly important.

We will also explore the growing requirements for governance, transparency, and compliance with the EU AI Act.

At the same time, we focus on how AI can be integrated into HR work—not as a standalone tool, but as part of the foundation, built on data, structure, and clear frameworks.
