Berlingske Media is a media house in the middle of Copenhagen that has the media Berlingske, B.T., Weekendavisen and Euroinvestor. Berlingske Media is a free, responsible press and employs different groups of employees — both editorial, commercial and administrative and all employees use MindKey.

Berlingske Media took a big step towards modernizing their HR processes by integrating MindKey in 2017. Lise Glerup, HR Director at Berlingske Media, highlights the decisive factor behind the choice: the impressive level of self-service for both employees and managers offered by MindKey.

One of the decisive reasons Berlingske Media chose Mindkey back in 2017 was the high degree of self-service – for both employees and managers.

Holiday and absence registration that creates an overview
Holiday and absence management is an area where Mindkey makes a particularly noticeable difference for Berlingske Media. Employees continuously register their holidays, managers approve – and the process runs without manual coordination from HR.
"It's really easy to use Mindkey for holiday registration, and there are good overviews for both employees and managers. Managers can actually see the same data that we see in HR – which relieves us when we're working with tight deadlines. All of that means we have less administrative work in HR."
The system is also used for reimbursement applications for long-term sick leave: employees and managers register the absence in Mindkey, and HR applies for reimbursement based on that – structured and documented.
